offering classes for
various ages.
Each class will
cost $15 and will last 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. All supplies are included.
The teacher will be Pat Russell. (Adults, you
are welcome to take
the class as well as
your child).

Beginning Wire Works 101 with Judi
(great class for the newbie beader)

Beginner class
Taught by Judy Wilde
All created with about 4″ of WIRE!
You will make 3 different sets of earrings and learn to make your own ear wires. Learn to make a clasp or two and Headpins. Also learn how to make the perfect loop and wire-wrap basic beads.
Craft wire is included in the class just need some beads for your earrings or to wrap. Stop by and look at the examples and we can give you a handout. Bring your wire working tools or Lora will have some for purchase.
This class fee is $25.00. Supplies are included.

Chain Maille 101
June 11th 2:30-6:00pm
June 20th 11-2pm
Beginner
You will learn the history and basics of creating chain maille and the special language used in patterns as you create three stunning pieces of jewelry. You will learn about the various metals to use and how to calculate the different ring sizes for different gauges of wire. The patterns you will learn are the Rosettes earrings, the 2-in-2 bracelet, and the Parallel (Helm) bracelet.

This class included two beading projects. The first project will be to create a lantern with a beaded handle. A mason jar, beads, wire, tissue paper, Mod Podge and glitter will be used to complete the unique designs. The second project will be to create a beaded bubble wand using beads and wire. Beads will be strung on wire to create the handle and the wand.

Wish Bracelet

The idea behind a wish bracelet is that you make a wish, and tie it on. Eventually, the hemp wears out, and you will lose the beads. Which sounds sad, but when this happens, your wish is then “released” and is supposed to come true. We will be making wish bracelets using hemp and size 6 seed beads.

Intermediate Chain Maille

Intermediate Level
It will be a Byzantine Blowout class. With a knowledgable foundation of the Chain Maille Basics, you will learn the Byzantine and a variation of the Byzantine pattern called the Romanov.

Learn to make your own one of kind soldered glass charms to be used for jewelry or other art pieces.
No soldering experience necessary.
Students will have materials and time to make several charms in class. All Supplies provided, but if you have special images you would like to use, bring along a nice copy.
You will leave knowing soldering iron safety, basic soldering with a soldering iron. How to solder glass pendants and add a jump ring to a piece of metal.

Spoon Leather Cuff

Have you taken the Spoon Pendant class? Then you have leftover spoon handles! This class will take the leftover handles to create one of Roxy’s favorite things to teach….the Leather Cuff with the Snap Setter tool and the new Rivet Setter Tool. And if everyone is good, we an break out the metal stamps too. See you then!

Tatting Fundamentals:
Learn the art of tatting. This class is the first step
in the process and is a requirement for Tatting
with Bead Embellishments. You will learn to make
and rings. You will also learn to make chains
using the ball and shuttle technique. We will be
making notecards as your project. You will also
learn how to read the various styles of tatting
patterns. Tatting shuttle and thread are included.
