Greetings!Thanks to everyone for making Beadapalooza a fabulous event. I hope everyone had a great time and was inspired to go home and create beautiful jewelry. I think this year was the best one ever!!

Bead Embroidery

Learn the basics of Beaded Embroidery. We will be encasing a cabachon with seed beads using peyote and brick stitch techniques. Completing the back with leather or ultra suede and topping it off with a bail.$50.00 class fee. Supplies not included.

Make a necklace similar to this one using the Knotty-do-it-all board. If you already have your board or not come and learn basic macrame techniques and get 20% off your board and supplies the day of the class.

Soutache Pendant

Beginning Soutache. Soutache is a narrow, flat ornamental braid used to embellish clothing or to create jewelry. The beginning soutache class involves creating a pendant with a center stone, two colors of soutache and additional beads to embellish. You will learn how to manipulate the two braids around the large stone, how to attach the braids to each other and to smaller beads. You will also learn how to finish your piece using the beaded embroidery brick stitch. There will be kits available for purchase that include two yards of Soutache in colors of your choosing, backing material and pseudo suede. You can bring your own stones and beads. Materials also needed are a strong needle and fire line.

Beginner class
Taught by Pat Russell
Tatting Fundamentals:Learn the art of tatting. This class is the first step in the process and is a requirement for Tatting with Bead Embellishments. You will learn to make and rings. You will also learn to make chains using the ball and shuttle technique. We will be making notecards as your project. You will also learn how to read the various styles of tatting patterns. Tatting shuttle and thread are included.
This class fee is $30.00.

Etching and Embossing with Vintaj Metals and using the Vintaj “Big Kick” Machine.Sept. 7th 2-5pm
Sept. 20th 11-1pm
Learn how to use the Bead Biz new Vintaj “Big Kick” machine. We have all the embossing and etching plates for you to use. You can use our paints too for the class.
Class fee is $20.00. you must buy Vintaj pieces for the class to use. Paints will be sold for use at home after class.
After having the class you may come and use the Stores machine and plates to emboss and etch your Vintaj pieces.

Beginning Wire Works 101 with Judi

Beginner class
Taught by Judy Wilde
All created with about 4″ of WIRE!
You will make 3 different sets of earrings and learn to make your own ear wires. Learn to make a clasp or two and Headpins. Also learn how to make the perfect loop and wire-wrap basic beads.
Craft wire is included in the class just need some beads for your earrings or to wrap. Stop by and look at the examples and we can give you a handout. Bring your wire working tools or Lora will have some for purchase.
This class fee is $25.00 .
This one is a good one and it is filling up fast!!

Count your blossoms Bracelet

The design is from the new Kalmbach beading book, Creative Seed Bead Connections. This pretty
blossom bracelet combines stitching with wire working and will give you a taste of the beautiful pieces available in this publication. The pattern provided in the class will have the directions for the matching necklace and earring pieces. Teacher- Marsha Ingram

Enameled Component Leather Bracelet Class

Beginner class
We are lucky to have the C-koop Enameled components and beads through the end of September. Roxy will be helping you design the perfect bracelets using them and our new selection of leather. She will be teaching you to use rivets and guiding you imagination to a fabulous creation.
This class fee is $30.00.20% off everything in the store excluding C-Koop Trunkshow items.

Beadology 101
Beginning Bead Stringing with LisaSept. 14th 1-4pm
Sept. 26th 6:30-9:30pm
In this perfect beginner beading class, students will learn the basics of stringing and design, including review of raw materials and proper use & application of tools. Your necklace design will be completed and able to be worn home by end of class. Please plan on arriving early to pick out your supplies and to purchase any materials you may need.Class fee is $25.00 plus supplies.
Students will receive 20% off all supplies day of the class.

Wire work Bangle Class with JudiSept. 28th 2-5pm
Some wire working experience needed
Beginner Wire Wrap Bracelet using square, half round and regular craft wire. Learn how to bind three wires together with half round wire. Learn to twist square wire and make a clasp for the end. You can add beads or not to this bangle type bracelet.
This Class has a minimum of 2 students and a maximum for 4 students. So sign up early this is expected to be a very popular class.

Tatting Earrings Level 2
(tatting 101 prerequisite)

In this class we will create several styles of earrings. We will use just chains, just rings and a combination of the two. You will learn to join rings as well as the Celtic tatting style. All thread is included. You will need beads for embellishment, earring wires and jump rings.Class price is $30. Teacher, Pat Russell.

Create three identical beaded ring components to make a necklace that combines stitching with a bit of wirework. Stitched rings act as links in a chain for a textured necklace that lets you use needles and pliers. Repeating different styles of links in a decorative chain creates a pattern that pulls it all together

Let’s take our new favorite passion to the next level! If you haven’t learned how to make a leather cuff yet, don’t worry! You’ll get a quick lesson in making your pattern, using a rotary cutter, setting snaps and making a new design. We will pick a pendant and wire wrap it onto our finished piece. Hope you can join us!

Learn to make your own personalized pendants and components with watch parts, empherma, or your own sentimental doo dads. We will work with Susan Lenart Kazmers Ice Resin to create fun and interesting mixed media jewelry parts that you can use to create jewelry with your personal touch.
