Directions to the Show are:
From I-459 |
Take the Helena exit (Morgan Road) and go
South East (McDonalds will be on your right).
This is Morgan Road/county road 52. Follow 52
into Helena. Turn left at the intersection of
SR-261 (Zaxby’s will be on your right as
you turn.) Follow 261 into downtown Helena.
Go over 2 sets of railroad tracks. The Community
Center is on Ruffin Road the first left after the
second set of railroad tracks.

Take the Valleydale exit, exit to the right toward
Hwy 31. Continue straight on Valleydale crossing
Hwy 31. After crossing 31 Valleydale becomes
SR-261. Following SR-261, you will come to a
rock quarry. One half mile after the rock quarry,
turn onto Ruffin Road. It will be on your right.
This is a new road to the ballfields. If you cross
the railroad tracks you have gone too far.

BEADAPALOOZA CLASS
Pewter Casting Charms
March 14th 9-4pm
Guest teacher: David Johnson
of Glass Onion Studios,
Appleton Wisconsin.
Students will learn how to carve
molds and cast pewter charms.
In this class you will create 2 plaster
molds an make 2 charms.
Students should bring small metal
files, carving tools (dental picks),
pencils, paper, and small design
ideas. All other supplies are
included in the class.

Heart on a String Necklace

Heart on a String pendant
necklace features an open,
freeform heart that is
constructed of tubular
Herringbone stitch and
richly embellished with
tiny cup chain, pearls and
crystal. The neckstrap
portion is also tubular
Herringbone incorporating
large, single stones and
a new accent technique,
as shown on either side
of the white crystal rondelle
in the necklace photo. This
is a six-hour workshop in
which all techniques will be
taught and demonstrated.
Most students will not
complete the entire design
during the class time.
Kits will be available for
purchase the day of the
class in 3 color choices:
Silver, Gold(cranberry luster
as shown in picture) or Pink.

The Just Screwin’ Around
torq style cuff bracelet features
a Cellini spiral embellished
with tiny pearls and cup chain
around a flexible metal armature
that allows the piece to be curved
and positioned to hold its shape.
One end features a crystal
chessboard cabochon Swarovski
disc and the other end is a spike
bead, and when combined with
the undulating texture of the
Cellini spiral, the look suggests
a hardware screw. This is a 6
hour workshop with an hour
break for lunch in which
all techniques will be taught
and demonstrated. Most students
will not complete the entire
project in class.
